INITIATION AU COMPOSTAGE
Come join us for an afternoon full of tips and tricks to learn everything there is to know about how composting works and its benefits.
Presentation
These workshops provide an opportunity to explore the technical aspects of the composting process, understand waste management, and learn how to properly use a shared composter.
Program:
2:00 p.m.: Welcome and introduction using a photo presentation.
2:15 p.m.: What can I put in my composter? (How do we sort our waste? Where does it go next?)
2:45 p.m.: What is composting? Classroom presentation on the process in action.
3:30 p.m.: Tour of a shared composting site (explanation of how it works, temperature check, and Q&A).
3:45 p.m.: Conclusion and answers to final questions.
4:00 p.m.: End of the training session.
Practical recommendations:
Since part of the introductory session takes place outdoors for the tour of the shared site, please wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle and protection depending on the weather (rain or sun).
