Summary

Included in the grand Site of Navacelles, overlooking the valleys of the Virenque, Sorbs is located at the heart of the perimeter of the Causses and Cévennes listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its characteristics are geological, due to the presence of Sotchs, and also because the natural wealth of this territory harbors a remarkable biodiversity that the municipality protects, which has earned it recognition from the French Biodiversity Office as a ‘territory committed to nature’. Causse houses, a 14th-century castle, and a classified cross are to be discovered.
