The Lodève and Larzac Tourist Office, committed to the Quality Tourism approach, aims to offer its visitors a quality service by providing all the essential elements to discover and appreciate the tourist riches of our territory.

Our Quality policy is to continuously develop this approach in our services and thus to daily meet the expectations and needs of our visitors.


Our Commitments

Commitments to our collaborators
- a pleasant workplace conducive to personalized welcomes (2nd phase of work planned for autumn, to allow for a cosier welcome, without a reception desk that gives a barrier effect)

- quality human relationships: providing a posture that fosters listening, reformulating, ensuring understanding of the request, broadening ...

- efficient and peaceful working conditions thanks to a structured organization with the drafting of procedures, the implementation of various tools such as the liaison notebook, the remarks notebook … and good internal communication via the instant messaging tool “teams”

- a competent team thanks to a varied training path, educational tours, field visits …
- an enhanced integration program with site visits to facilitate the onboarding of new staff (detailed integration program, quizzes and the stay advisor manual

- committed actions in favor of sustainable development and Quality of Life at Work: principles and procedures for the world of tomorrow (sorting, communication, purchasing, events, publications, teleworking, team carpooling, group meals in a friendly setting) 


Commitments to our visitors 
- improving accessibility to the Tourist Office

- facilitating access to quality information, for everyone and all the time by promoting offers during the shoulder seasons
-adapting content to the different customer profiles: locals, foreign clients...(overhaul of the experience guide and the Lodève map in FR/GB also including special offers for locals)

- optimizing the presentation and management of online tourist information and in our BIT

- ensuring clear, precise, up-to-date information 

- providing a personalized and warm welcome

- assisting visitors in organizing their stay 

- gathering visitor feedback to improve our services and the experience at the Lodève and Larzac Tourist Office 


Commitments to our partners and socio-professionals 
 - structuring and qualifying their offer

 - promoting the destination and tourist offering to visitors

 - proposing collaborative actions to improve our actions and the quality of welcome (Breakfast Brainstorming launched in 2022 and renewed in 2023) thus creating cohesion and a network effect, allowing better identification of needs

 - offering partners tools that allow them to inform their clients themselves

 - training and raising awareness among our partners about new tools and trends (CSR, climate change, digital presence, quality...)
- working with tourist networks (local, departmental, regional, national)


Commitments to our elected officials
 - regularly keeping them informed of actions and ongoing projects

 - involving them in actions to improve our services by integrating a Quality point into the Management Councils to think together (elected officials, technicians, professionals) about the continuous improvement of the quality welcome of the Lodève & Larzac destination.

The Quality Tourism™ brand

The Quality Tourism label was created to identify, recognize, and promote tourism professionals whose services offer quality guarantees. 

Our establishment renewed its label in June 2023.
