TRAIL DE LABEIL AU TEMPLE

A technical trail that takes in the Lerab Ling Buddhist temple, the Escandorgue forest and the Labeil cave. Along picturesque paths, between dolomitic chaos and ancestral transhumance trails.

Presentation

Departing from the Lerab Ling Buddhist Temple, this itinerary heads for the Escandorgue state forest, where the charm of the forest paths contrasts with the atmosphere of the dolomitic chaos of the Causse. We pass over the Labeil cave. Then down to the village of Lauroux. Climb back up to Escandorgue in the direction of Roqueredonde... The end of the route follows ancestral drailles eroded by the passage of flocks of sheep.
