Presentation

This hike is one of 4 loops on the GR® de Pays Tour du Larzac Méridional, which runs along the southern Larzac plateau between Hérault and Aveyron.

This 3-day itinerary is accessible to all regular hikers, and takes in the highest point of Mont Saint-Baudille, at an altitude of 850 m, offering a breathtaking view of the entire Hérault department, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Pyrenees.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Causses and Cévennes, cultural landscape of Mediterranean agro-pastoralism), Larzac is rich in historical and natural heritage.
