A great itinerary on the territory of Lodevois Larzac is in front of you. The garrigue, although dominant, willingly gives way to a national forest with surprising and mystical landscapes. The crossing of the Escandorgue, culminating in the Roquet Escut area, will lead you to the rural village of Roqueredonde.

Presentation

From Caylar, gateway to the southern Larzac, you will cross a caussenard landscape transformed by man into vast "dry grasslands". The traces of history are still visible along your route and the high points will allow you to embrace a dolomitic and karstic Larzac. The state forest of Escandorgue will welcome you for an atypical and mystical crossing through the magic of its vegetation and its rocks. Not far from the Buddhist temple of Engayresque, you will reach the stage lodging of Roqueredonde for a country stop.
