The KERMIT association invites you on a bucolic walk to discover some of the emblematic trees around the village of Saint-Maurice-Navacelles. A pretty easy loop, marked out by a little Caussenarde ewe, invites you to take a break in front of 12 trees that have an important natural or historical heritage value for the villagers.

The KERMIT association invites you on a bucolic walk to discover some of the emblematic trees around the village of Saint-Maurice-Navacelles. A pretty easy loop, marked out by a little Caussenarde ewe, invites you to take a break in front of 12 trees that have an important natural or historical heritage value for the villagers.
12 remarkable trees line the route. Each tree is identified by a small sign with :
- a number corresponding to its position on the map,
- the name of the tree in French, Latin and Occitan (or in Canadian dialect for the twelfth tree...),
- a sheep showing you the leaf and fruit of the species concerned.
Full details of each remarkable tree can be found in a leaflet, available in digital format (downloadable) or on paper (available at the media library, in the town hall or at the restaurant "Les Tilleuls" in season).
