A child-friendly visit to the only annex of the Manufacture nationale de tapis de la Savonnerie. This arts and crafts workshop perpetuates the 4-century-old practice of weaving exceptional carpets.

Presentation

A child-friendly visit to the only annex of the Manufacture nationale de tapis de la "Savonnerie", an arts and crafts workshop that perpetuates a 4-century-old weaving practice for exceptional rugs. Knotted-stitch weaving is quite a technique! To become a carpet weaver, you also have to draw, interpret a color palette, work with shapes and materials, prepare your loom... Each carpet has its own story!

Please note: remember to buy your tickets in advance, as the number of places is limited and there is no ticket office on site.
Tickets can be purchased at the Lodève Tourist Office or via the online ticketing service.

Thursdays in summer at 10:30 am.
Ages 7 and up.
