Villages
Perched on the heights of Lodévois and Larzac, Saint-Michel combines medieval ruins, a 17th-century church, and lush pastoral meadows.
In the village of Saint-Michel reside the ruins of an ancient castle that bears the memory of the troops of King of France Philippe-le-Bel, who besieged the place. The village church dates from the 17th century and houses a bell made by a famous bell founder in the region, Lonar Bordes. The pastoral meadows occupy a large part of the locality, a true jewel of greenery on the heights of the Lodévois and Larzac territory.
