Villages
Le Bosc, an ancient fortified village with Gallo-Roman remains, connects the plain and Larzac, offering a rich heritage and a major dolmen.
On either side of the A75, a set of municipalities transition between the plain and the first foothills of Larzac, in a hilly landscape. Le Bosc, an ancient fortified village, gathers 11 villages and hamlets. On the communal land lies one of the largest dolmens in the region. Formerly on the passage of a Roman road connecting Nîmes to Lodève, this part of the territory is rich in Gallo-Roman remains from which a significant number of archaeological artifacts have been unearthed, now counted among the collections of the Lodève Museum. With the appearance of a medieval village, Le Bosc is a municipality of multiple riches…
