Summary

On the southern edge of the Causse du Larzac (600-800m altitude), a land of extensive farming (cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep), the picturesque and charming village of La Vacquerie offers many accommodations (cottages, guest rooms, municipal camping), several restaurants (including 1 gastronomic) and 4 renowned wineries. Hikers will find many trails (notably on the Séranne) with spectacular viewpoints (Aigoual, Causse, coastal plain); they will also visit the charming Goutal spring and discover dolmens and menhirs. It is finally the paradise of speleologists who explore large underground networks.
