Summary

Celles is a town located by the Salagou Lake. When the lake was filled, the residents had to leave due to the likely submersion of the village, leading it to a state of ruin. Since then, the surviving residents have been working hard to repopulate this village rescued from the waters. Celles is gradually revitalizing with an innovative orientation: an urban renewal focused on friendliness, land management, tourism, and the architectural and environmental quality of constructions. Thus, since 2019, new inhabitants are gradually repopulating this village with such specific looks.
