Every first Sunday of the month, experience a day dedicated to discovering the remarkable heritage of Lodévois and Larzac: Follow a visit to the Lodève Museum and then a visit to the region whose theme or format changes every month!

10:30 AM – Guided tour "Celles today, Celles tomorrow"
A local resident will present the latest updates on the project in the commune of Celles, in the heart of the Grand Site Salagou - Cirque de Mourèze.
An emblematic village of Salagou, Celles has a unique story, deeply marked by the filling of the dam at the end of the 1960s. Long suspended, its future is being written anew today, driven by the commitment of its residents and the commune along a deliberately "other" trajectory: a concrete reflection on non-speculative housing, the place of the living and the way of inhabiting a fragile and remarkable territory. Rehabilitation sites, housing projects, a conservatory orchard and grafting laboratory, collective governance and ties to the landscape compose a project currently in experimentation.
This commented visit offers a progress update on the communal project: what is already underway, what is being built, and the questions raised by this experience on the scale of the Lodévois and Larzac territory.

2:30 PM – Audio-guided tour of Lodève
Explore Lodève freely and the treasures of its historical center: the Saint-Fulcran Cathedral, the war memorial sculpted by Paul Dardé, the shopping streets and the remarkable heritage of the city of Art and History.
3:30 PM – Free visit to the Lodève Museum
Embark on a journey of 540 million years at the Lodève Museum: explore its three permanent paths (Traces of Life, Human Footprints, and Memories of Stone), as well as its current temporary exhibitions.
Late afternoon – Free time
Enjoy the last hours to wander, shop or simply savor the atmosphere of the city.
