Why do volcanoes erupt? Why is some lava fluid while other lava is explosive? Through experiments and interactive models, the Demain la Terre! association invites you to explore volcanism, volcanic rocks, and the ancient volcanoes of the Hérault.

Set out to discover the fascinating world of volcanoes during a fun, hands-on workshop led by the Demain la Terre association!

Through various experiments and interactive models, you’ll discover why volcanoes erupt and what explains the differences between fluid lava flows and more explosive eruptions.

This is your chance to learn more about volcanism, volcanic rocks, and the traces left by ancient volcanoes in the Hérault region, all while getting hands-on and experimenting. An accessible and fun exploration to better understand the volcanic phenomena that have shaped our landscapes.

Ages 7 and up.
