RENCONTRE AVEC ARMELLE CARON

Over the course of two weeks, Armelle Caron created a giant artwork on the plaza in front of the Lodève Museum to complement the Aboriginal Art exhibition. Come discover the artwork in the presence of the artist this Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. You’ll be able to place symbols on this giant map to mark places that are dear to you.

Presentation

Aboriginal artists create maps that blend topography and mythology, space and time, in a sensitive and precise cartography of their territory.

To engage with these practices, the Lodève Museum has invited Armelle Caron to take over its plaza for her exhibition *Aboriginal Art: The Time of Dreaming*.

Come discover the artwork in the presence of the artist this Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. You’ll be able to place symbols on this giant map to mark places that are dear to you.

Armelle Caron will be creating the artwork on the plaza from June 29 to July 10.
The artwork will remain on display for the following months.
