guitarist Philippe Cornier will be celebrating forty years on stage this year!


His program, "Masterpieces of the Spanish Guitar", features works by Tárrega, Albéniz and Granados, and celebrates the richness and passion of Iberian music!
His virtuoso yet intimate playing makes the strings of his instrument vibrate with a rare sensitivity, inviting the audience on a poetic journey to the heart of Mediterranean emotions.
Philippe has performed in Canterbury Cathedral, Prague's Obcni Dum, Mexico City's Museo de la Ciudad, Damascus, Bayreuth, Aix en Provence Cathedral, Paris's Eglise de St Germain des Pres, Marseille's Abbaye St Victor, Moissac's Cloitre and Conques Abbey?

He has recorded "Ivresse de la guitare" and Vivaldi concertos under the direction of Jean Louis Forestier.
