A walk on an ancient volcano, between geology, local history and prehistoric remains, with Laure, guide and geomediator for the Terre d?Hérault Geopark.

Presentation

Get up high and discover one of the finest examples of volcanism in the Hérault region. From the summit of Cayroux, a breathtaking panorama opens up over the red earth of the ruffes and the Salagou valley. This puech, steeped in history, reveals the traces of an ancient human presence: dolmens, low walls and other prehistoric remains bear witness to a site that has been strategic for millennia.

A walk accompanied by Laure, a state-qualified mountain guide and Geomediator for the Terre d?Hérault Geopark, to understand the links between geology, landscape and local history.
