Albertin Ventadour, a gamba player and singer, and mezzo-soprano Anette Cyran offer a humorous take on Baroque music, blending Spanish theater, French music, and dances by Bach and Handel. A show full of mischief, music, and a sense of camaraderie with the audience.

Presentation

From Spanish theater to French music, via the German dances of Bach and Handel, Albertin Ventadour and Anette Cyran take you on a journey to discover Baroque humor. Through the viola da gamba, singing, wit, and a healthy dose of chemistry, the two artists explore the comic elements of music and theater from days gone by. An original and whimsical show that brings you as close as possible to what made our “luminous ancestors” laugh out loud.
