%C0 To mark the centennial of his birth, the Traits d’Union association is paying tribute to the Algerian poet Jean Sénac. Images, readings, and a documentary film will trace his life and work, with the participation of Algerian writer and journalist Areski Metref. An Algerian dish will be served during the intermission.

Presentation

The Traits d’Union association is presenting a tribute to Jean Sénac, who would have turned 100 this year and is considered one of Algeria’s greatest poets.

Through images, readings, and a documentary film, this event invites you to discover the life and work of this writer, whose poetry, both radiant and socially conscious, embodies rebellion, defiance, sensuality, and beauty.

This presentation will feature Areski Metref, an Algerian writer and journalist. A break to enjoy an Algerian meal will punctuate this moment of discovery and sharing.
