Ages 6 and up - Immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture and leave with your own decorated boomerang. Flash visit of the Aboriginal Art exhibition followed by a workshop.
Presentation
Did you know that the boomerang is much more than a simple object? A symbol of Aboriginal culture, it tells stories and conveys values. In this workshop, you'll learn more about its importance with a guided tour of the exhibition. Then it's time to get creative: select an animal and traditional motifs to decorate your wooden boomerang. With the advice of a mediator, give life to a colorful and meaningful work of art. Each participant leaves with his or her own creation.
