Presentation

Bringing together over a hundred works produced between 1990 and 2000, the Musée de Lodève invites visitors to discover the art of Australia?s Aborigines through a journey combining paintings and sculptures. The exhibition takes visitors along ochre trails to discover this immemorial culture. It teaches us that a different relationship to the land, to the Earth, is possible, where Man does not own the Earth, but lives in symbiosis with it. A theme that echoes
the Musée de Lodève, whose collections bear witness to a territory, its evolution and the impact of man on the landscape.
