MAS FRIGOULET
At just 23 years old, we decided in 2018 to take over the running of our grandfather's vineyards in the commune of Le Puech, near the Lac du Salagou. A Mas made of local red stones stands in the middle of the vineyards. Around them, thyme or frigoule in Occitan grows in abundance, the Mas Frigoulet was born.
Presentation
The Mas Frigoulet is exclusively composed of old vines cultivated on terraces. This architecture, typical of the Larzac foothills, excludes the use of mechanization and has reinforced our desire to adopt a sustainable method of cultivation. Throughout the seasons, the work is done by hand, allowing us to harvest beautiful bunches of grapes and to preserve the fruit until vatting. We use a traditional vinification for our red wine and a light cold pressing for our white and rosé wines
