EXPOSITION: "SACRÉMENT SUD"

EXPOSITION: "SACRÉMENT SUD"

Dock Sud in collaboration with Ô Marches du Palais,

gallery founded by Fatna and JC Mironneau, offer you: the exhibition "Sacrément Sud" by five painters of yesterday and today from our region, very dear friends and accomplices of the gallery owner Martin Bez.

Paintings by Maurice Elie Sarthou, Pierre Fournel, Jean Rouzaud, Gilles Marie Dupuy as well as Laurent Reynes are presented in the beautiful and vast chapel of the White Penitents in Lodévoise, desecrated and dedicated since 2007 to all the Arts, exhibitions, concerts, theater, projections, readings?

"How not to feel touched by the visceral need of these painters to praise the skies, the sea, the beaches, the ponds? Icons of our South. They paint and repaint sometimes excessively our South, attentive to its incessant changes of colors and lights which make it unique at each moment of the day. An act of devotion for a landscape constantly renewed where each painting freezes a moment of grace and makes us glimpse the Sacred back in this place once dedicated

Martin Bez
