STAGES DE CYANOTYPE

Cyanotype, a very old and alternative photographic technique, allows you to print images (plants, drawings, or photos) in Prussian blue using sunlight or a UV exposure unit.

No need to know how to draw—it’s all about having fun with this rich and accessible technique for everyone!

The workshops will take place in my new studio right in the heart of Lodève, at Atelier MUSKA.
We’ll be able to work in an inspiring and comfortable setting, bathed in beautiful light. Plus, we’ll stay cool—the studio is air-conditioned!

During the introductory cyanotype workshop, we’ll explore various approaches using plants, freshly picked flowers, as well as your own sketches created on-site or photographic images. You can also bring your own herbariums and small objects, such as lace, which we can mix and match with plant motifs and other visuals in a free and playful way.

Discover and learn all the steps: Presentation of the technique and its history, preparing the image on suitable substrates, materials, use of UV light, various substrates (paper and fabric), and advice on equipment and suppliers.

One-day introductory workshop, with your choice of date.
Maximum of 6 people, ages 12 and up.
*Lunch on-site—please bring your own picnic!

Here are the steps to follow to confirm your registration for the workshop:
1/ Send me an email with your preferred date (please let me know if you’re flexible)
2/ Send a deposit of 40? to confirm your registration and let me know via reply email:
either via PayPal transfer to my name, Ayda-Su Nuroglu, and account number 0618710990
or via bank transfer using my bank details, which I’ve attached
or by check made payable to 5 rue Porte St Jean, 34150 Aniane (not the address on the bank details!)
3/ The remaining balance is to be paid in cash on-site on the day of the workshop.

=> A confirmation email will be sent to you upon receipt of the deposit.
In case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable.
About ten days before the date of your workshop, you will receive an email with details about the cyanotype workshop so that you can prepare your images for printing.
