CARTE BLANCHE À MITIA FEDOTENKO: LECTURE DANSÉE

CARTE BLANCHE À MITIA FEDOTENKO: LECTURE DANSÉE

Danced reading of Russian and Ukrainian poems, in support of the Russian dissidence.

Originally from Moscow, choreographer, dancer and performer, Mitia Fedotenko started dancing in his native city at a very young age. When Russia opened its borders, he was invited by the French Institute to continue his training first at the CNDC in Angers, then at EX.E.R.CE. in Montpellier. After several tours in France (Montpellier Dance Festival 1999), Germany (International Sommertheater Festival in Hamburg; Tanzmesse NRW in Essen) and the Czech Republic (Autumn Dance Festival in Prague), with the duet les verstes et les distances created in close collaboration with Natacha Kouznetsova, he founded the Compagnie Autre MiNa in 1999 and settled in Montpellier.
